Tank!Game
Tank!Game is a fast-paced 3D third person shooter. Inspired by Battlezone, the gameplay revolves around shooting other tanks and avoiding being shot yourself. Additions to this basic foundation include multiple levels, some enemy diversity, weapon powerups and a combo-based super-attack system.
To Download Tank!Game
Download Tank!Game2.zip (1.5 mb, Windows binary) and unzip.
Run “TankGame21.exe” to play.
How to Play:
Controls:
Use Arrow Keys and Enter Key to start game.
Mouse to aim.
Left Click to shoot.
W to move forward.
S to move backward.
A to turn left.
D to turn right.
Hold SPACE to jump.
Pink Bar is Life
Blue Bar is Power
Power will drain when you shoot or jump.
Power recharges over time. Life will also recharge if Power is full.
Radar
The colored ring around your tank will point to the closest enemy.
The ring is colored from yellow to red. The closer the enemy, the more red it will become.
Power Ups
Enemies drop powerups when destroyed.
That ugly yellow wireframe mess is the powerup. It may look differently on your computer.
Pick it up to gain some Life back, and to change your primary weapon color.
Weapon Colors:
Red - rapid fire
Blue - power shot
Yellow - bounce shot
Purple - curve shot
Grey - Weak shot
Different combinations of colors do different things. For example, Blue/Yellow is a power shot that will bounce once.
Level Exit
That is the level exit. Fall down it to get to the next level. The last enemy to be destroyed will turn into an exit.
Options, etc:
To change options such as fullscreen mode, resolution or sounds, open “settings.txt”. Keep in mind that this is only the second iteration and is still considered a prototype. It is very incomplete and there are known bugs.
